How to choose the fabric and piping for Homecrest Replacement Slings and Cushions
All of the Homecrest replacement slings and padded slings require a welting or piping that holds the two layers of sling fabric together.
Here is how it works.
Standard, non-padded Homecrest Slings you need to choose your main sling fabric color and then a coordinating welting of piping.
Homecrest Padded Slings you choose your main fabric for the front of the sling only. The back of the sling will be a solid coordinating sling fabric. The piping and the solid back fabric will be the same.
Homecrest Cushions - you choose your main fabric for the front of the cushion only. The back of the cushion will be a solid coordinating sling fabric. The piping and the solid back fabric will be the same
The reason for the solid sling fabric on the back of Padded Sling and Cushions is due to the strenght of the sling fabric. Sling fabric can hold the weight of the body on the chair. The sling fabric gives the padded cushion or sling strength. The binding or piping holds all the layers of fabric together.
