The Chair Care Patio Furniture Repair Story….
A long time ago, on a patio far far away…..Chair Care Patio started as a hobby business in Steve & Deb Martz’s garage in Carrollton, Texas back in 1988. Originally a side business to repair and replace the vinyl strapping on patio chairs and the relacing of Brown Jordan Tamiami and Lido style furniture. It wasn’t too long before we grew out of our garage space and into a 400-square foot industrial building. Over the years, we added sandblasting and power coating services as well as. We sandblasted and powder coating thousands of wrought iron and aluminum frame outdoor patio furniture for our Dallas and North Texas Customers. As the Casual Furniture industry changed, vinyl strap furniture became a “vintage” look and sling style patio furniture was the new a current style. So, we bought ONE sewing machine and tucked it into a corner of the shop. We taught ourselves how to make and install replacement slings on just about any kind of outdoor patio sling style furniture. Then came deep seating outdoor furniture and woven wicker with cushions. About 15 years ago, we slowly started learning to make outdoor patio furniture cushions in our shops in Dallas. In a blink of an eye and 30 years later we have 45 employees, 30,000 square feet of warehouse space and provide patio slings, custom outdoor furniture cushions and more to customers nationwide.

We use only the best patio sling fabrics from Phifertex, Twitchell Textilene, Batyline from Serge Ferrari, and Sunbrella Sling Fabrics from Glen Raven. All replacement sling mesh fabrics we offer are UV durable, washable and antimicrobial.

Our Dallas patio sling replacement services includes pickup and delivery ($140 round trip) We’ll come to your home, load your patio sling chairs and chaises into our box truck and provide turnkey patio sling replacement. Our friendly and knowledgeable driver brings sling fabric samples to your home for review. Find the perfect replacement sling fabric right there on our own patio or in the comfort of your home.
Bring Your Furniture to Our Warehouse Showroom
If you have a truck are large vehicle, you are welcome to drop off your patio sling furniture at our warehouse in Dallas. Come on down to our warehouse showroom. Look at our fabric samples, tour our sewing and repair warehouses if you like. Glad to show you around. We also have a variety of replacement parts for sling style patio chairs, such as Spring Plates, end caps, chair glides or feet. We are open 8-4 Monday through Friday and most Saturdays in the Summer from 9-1. For Fall and Winter hours, call or check our website.
If you choose our full-service sling replacement options, we will measure your patio sling furniture frames and our sewing room will custom cut and sew a new replacement sling in the sling fabric of your choice, for a perfect fit. Then, our skilled technicians will install your new fabric sling.

For those homeowners who are handy with basic hand tools, installing your own patio slings is something you can accomplish. Lead times for patio furniture replacement slings
Lead times on sling replacement vary depending on the time of the year. The best time to replace your patio slings is during the Winter and Early Spring. Don’t wait till March or April!!!! Lead times ramp up very quickly and peak in June and July. All patio furniture repair is done in the order the job is received. Spring and Summer can arrive as early as February in North Texas (At least Spring Fever can arrive) Unfortunately, we cannot promise a completion date for a party or event, so plan ahead and repair early. Average lead time during peak season can be 8-10 weeks due to the overwhelming volume of furniture we take in. During the Fall and Winter lead times average about 4 weeks.

The metroplex is huge and growing bigger every day. Road construction is everywhere. Busy schedules and work make running errands a real chore. Our manufacturing showroom and warehouse is in the industrial area just north of down town Dallas. If you are coming from the northern suburbs of the metroplex, driving to and from our showroom could seem a little daunting. No worries. You can take advantage of our new Outdoor Concierge Services.
For a consultation fee of $150 per house, and a maximum of a two-hour visit, we will come to your home, and make the replacement cushion, outdoor design and décor process simple and easy. Consultation fee will be paid up front and applied to your final purchase.

We bring you our entire selection of beautiful outdoor patio furniture fabrics, trims and embellishments from Sunbrella, Outdura, Tempotest, Covington and more. Take your time and browse through each fabric collection in the comfort of your home or right on your patio. We’ll help you coordinate cushions and pillows and work with you to find the perfect fabric for your outdoor patio living space. While there we will measure for new custom made outdoor patio furniture cushions, pillows, ottomans and poufs and provide you a quotation for your approval. A 50% down payment is required for all custom cushion and custom design services. If required, we will bring your old cushions to our warehouse to use as a pattern to make sure your new cushions fit perfectly.
